Counselling on Lahendus.net

How does counselling work?
1. Register as a user

When you register as a user, you are asked to enter your (user)name, e-mail and gender. The counsellor only sees your username.

2. Send us a message

Write down your concerns and send it to us.

3. Counsellor provides help

A counsellor will respond to your first message within three days. You will receive a notification on your e-mail once the counsellor has replied. You can log in to the Lahendus.net environment using your username or e-mail and a password. This allows you to both access and reply to the messages that the counsellor has sent you.

Counsellors

Who are our counsellors?

The free and anonymous counselling service on our website is provided by a select group of senior psychology students and alumni of the University of Tartu and Tallinn University. Our counsellors are supervised by professional psychologists.

When should you contact us?

Online counselling allows you to talk about your troubles when you are unsure of where to turn or if you wish to remain anonymous. You can write to us regardless of your age, gender and the size of your problem.

It is like seeing a psychologist without actually going to the psychologist.
